Whats all the fuss about ? There's no rule to allow the fouling of players who are offside.

    It wasnt even a foul..

if the offside is given like it should be then the play stops there meaning no foul(which it wasn't anyways) and therefore no penalty..don't be an ignorant utd clown

Wrong you are not penalized for being in an offside position until you gain an advantage or interfere with play or an opponent. You can be in an offside position all game and never be penalized for being in an offside position.
You can foul an opponent regardless of their position. If the foul does not exist because a person is in an offside position you could punch an opponent in an offside position and get away with it. and that is definitely not the case.
So the foul occurred before Ashley Young had the opportunity to play the ball (gain an advantage) so it does not matter if he was in an offside position. If the referee deems it a direct kick foul his only option is a penalty as the foul occurred in the box.
Where his offside position matters is in that the defender could not have denied an obvious goal scoring opportunity because Young was in an offside position and could not have legally scored a goal. What does that mean? No goal scoring opportunity in this situation it cannot be an automatic send off.

You are wrong! It's not a foul because as soon as young becomes active he should have been offside and for the penalty to be given in this instance he must have been as active with the ball!
